Welcome folks.

My name is Andrew Lapointe. I'm a writer, filmmaker and film fanatic.

I decided to throw my hat into the ring that is podcasting and create this show in which I discuss all things movies. Everything from reviews of stuff on home video to new big screen releases as well as interviews with notable filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, journalists, film geeks, etc. A funny, lively, and laid back program that will spotlight lesser known contributors to the seventh art.

Every Monday morning at 9am EST, I co-host a radio show called The Drunken Master Revue on 93.1 CKCU-FM in Ottawa, Ontario. You can hear past episodes here.

That show is four dudes talking about movies new and old but in a very informal and rambling fashion. It's also very funny and I want to create the same tone with this podcast, only solo for the most part. The guests I'll have every week will be the main component here. I realized that on Facebook I'm connected to a lot of people who have worked in the film industry in one way or another. These people have amazing stories to tell and I want to have them share those stories with you.

Right now, I'm at work in pre-production on the very first episode. I'm making arrangements to book a very exciting guest to make the initial 'cast very special for all your fellow movie geeks out there.
